It’s the 1st of December, and I have a free-to-enter competition for you!

As the end of the year draws near, I’d like to reflect on a busy six months for the site.

In June 2019, Financial Expert underwent a bottom-up redesign. For the last ten years, Financial Expert was an investing and consumer blog covering a patchwork of topics.

Over a three month flurry of activity, I rebuilt the site around three free investing courses.

Offering courses rather than a stream of articles, allows me to make difficult topics easy by presenting ideas in a sensible order.

I’m proud of the content now featured by the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced courses. My favourite article is The Ultimate Guide to Online Investment Scams, which is still one of the most comprehensive anti-scam articles online today.

The prizes

There are eight Christmas Afternoon Treats with Flowers M&S hampers up for grabs, worth £50 each.

If the hamper is no longer available when the winners are drawn then the winners will be offered an alternative hamper from M&S worth £50 each.

How to maximise your number of entries into the competition:

To enter the competition, you need to provide an email address and complete activities to submit one or more entries.

To get your first entry, you’ll be asked to leave a blog comment below on this page, sharing your best christmas money saving tip. Once you’ve left a comment, click ‘I commented!’ in the widget.

You’ll then be offered more entries for completing other activities on Financial Expert or other friendly UK money blogs, such as:

• Tweet about this competition. Claim 5 bonus entries for tweeting and linking to this competition page.
• Read an article for one bonus entry: Visit the link shown in the widget to an article written by me or other bloggers, then click ‘Enter!’ after you’ve read.
• Follow fellow UK Money Bloggers on social media: The widget will allow you to follow other bloggers. You’ll need to provide a twitter handle to allow us to verify that you are a follower.

No room for bluffing – you must complete each activity properly as your participation will be verified if your name is selected as a winner. If you are not following a blogger you claimed to follow, for example, you will forfeit your prize and the winning entry will be reselected.
